A relaxed shirt isn’t just about fit. It’s about every detail, from collar to hem, coming together to create an aesthetic that's decidedly more laid-back. And so we spent 6 months prototyping and testing until everything was just right. What type of fabric wash would make most sense for this shirt style? How should a relaxed hemline look? Development continued until every detail hit the mark.

We finally landed on a garment which we feel is the best answer to our original goal: a button-down shirt that can be worn untucked, while still looking polished enough for the workday.

To ensure that the Gemini Casual still moves with the body, we curved its back yoke (the spot that sees the most strain when you bend or reach forward). By aligning the yoke's seam with the way the skin stretches, the shirt is more conducive to movement.

The hemline on a classic dress shirt is sharply curved so that the shirt stays tucked in. Relaxed buttondowns, however, are meant to be worn untucked, so we've flattened Gemini Casual's hemline to look more natural when worn outside pants.

We counterbalanced the shirt's relaxed shape with especially sleek details, like a laser-cut pocket and buttonholes. The added touches of polish keep the shirt from looking overly casual – which, here, was the goal.

One of the Gemini series' fundamental capabilities is temperature regulation, both by way of Phase Change Material (blended into the fabric) as well as laser-cut underarm ventilation for increased airflow.
